Top Strengths-

My top strengths on the Authentic Happiness survey on UPenns website were~

Your Top Strength

Humor and playfulness
You like to laugh and tease. Bringing smiles to other people is important to you. You try to see the light side of all situations.
Your Second Strength

Creativity, ingenuity, and originality
Thinking of new ways to do things is a crucial part of who you are. You are never content with doing something the conventional way if a better way is possible.
Your Third Strength

Bravery and valor
You are a courageous person who does not shrink from threat, challenge, difficulty, or pain. You speak up for what is right even if there is opposition. You act on your convictions.
Your Fourth Strength

Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness
You are an honest person, not only by speaking the truth but by living your life in a genuine and authentic way. You are down to earth and without pretense; you are a "real" person.
Your Fifth Strength

Kindness and generosity
You are kind and generous to others, and you are never too busy to do a favor. You enjoy doing good deeds for others, even if you do not know them well.

I think this is true because I really try to make people laugh and be happy, even when I'm not. Being a waitress, my job really revolves around being kind and bubbly around other people, so I think it fits well. I'm also a very creative person so that fits too. I like to try to be as original as I can be.

celebrities with anxiety

I think that it's extremely understandable that celebrities have different variations of anxiety because their lives are under constant scrutiny from the media and under extreme stress to be perfect.

Celebrities like Johnny Depp, Emma Stone,
Kate Moss and Adele suffer from social anxiety/anxiety and panic attacks regularly and find ways to cope with it.

I think that it's extremely understandable that celebrities have different variations of anxiety because their lives are under constant scrutiny from the media and under extreme stress to be perfect.

Today, teenagers and young adults really look up to celebrities are role models, so they are expected to handle things like anxiety in a way that will help other people too even if that's hard for them. To be expected to handle something as serious as panic attacks and anxiety like it's easy seems like it would be extremely difficult.

~introduction~

This blog is going to be my blog for my AP Psych 20% project.

I plan to write about depression and anxiety in high school students and the way it affects them in many different lights and how they manage it.

I'm going to post about different research I find and studies I look into along with my opinions on depression and anxiety and how other teenagers cope with having anxiety and depression. I plan on exploring many different areas of depression and anxiety from emotional and neurological views.
